Instructions to make to make Vegetable pulao

  1. Wash rice and soak it in water for 15-20minutes.drain and keep aside until it needed.
  2. Heat oil or ghee together in a pressure cooker on a low flame.add bay leaf,cinnamon and ginger garlic paste and saute for 30 seconds.add onion and saute until it turns lights brown or for approx 3 minutes.
  3. Add chopped tomato,green peas,potato,carrot and green chilli.
  4. Mix it well and stir fry them approx 3-4minutes mint.add turmeric powder,redchilli,garammasala,coriander powder and curd.
  5. Mix it well,now add soaked basmati rice and mix it well.
  6. Add 3 cup of water and mix it well.
  7. Close the lid and cook over medium flame for 2 whistles.when 1st whistles is completed reduce the flame to low and cook until another whistle.turn off the flame.
  8. Open the lid carefully and fluff the rice with a fork.transfer it to a serving bowl and garnish with green coriander leaves.
