- Soak rice in water for 45 min..
- Boil chicken in 3 cups water with all whole garam masala for 25 min.. on slow to medium flame..
- Strain chicken with strainer, remove all whole garam masala..keep chicken stock aside..
- In another big pot add oil fry onion add ginger garlic paste & fry chicken add red chilli power & turmeric powder,yogurt saute it for 2 min.
- Add chicken stock in it when it comes to boil add soaked rice in it..
- Check water quantity it should be 1 inch above rice chicken..when water bubbles comes add pinch of food colour then slow the flame & put it on dum..
- Serve hot enjoy with raita
