  18. Water for boiling rice

Instructions to make to make Masalay daar Biryani

  1. In a pateela, add oil, chicken,onion sliced, 2 sliced tomatoes and all the mentioned spices and cover and cook on high flame for first 10 minutes
  2. Then reduce the flame and cook for 15 more minutes. Uncover and cook until oil separates.
  3. In boiling water add salt and cumin seeds and add rice and cook until 3/4th done..strain and set aside
  4. Separately in a bowl whisk together yoghurt and yellow food colour.
  5. Layer all the masala in the base of a dish. Add beated yoghurt on top of it. Place boiled potatoes. On top of it add 1 tomato slices, coriander leaves, mint leaves, strained alo bukharay. Cover all of this with remaining rice. Sprinkle some food colouring on top. Place lid
  6. Keep the wok on high flame for starting 10 minutes then reduce the flame and cook on dum for 10 to 15 minutes.
  7. Mix well before serving.
