  11. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  12. 2 tsp sugar
  13. 1 tsp white sesame seeds
  14. 1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
  15. 1/4 tsp soda bi carb
  16. 2 tbsp oil
  17. to taste Salt
  18. Curd to bind as required
  19. For tempering
  20. 2 tbsp oil
  21. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  22. 1 tsp cummin seeds
  23. 2 tsp white sesame seeds
  24. as needed Finely chopped fresh coriander leaves to garnish

Steps to make to make Greens Muthiyas

  1. Chopped all green leafy vegetables. Wash in water and keep aside. In mixing bowl add all flours.
  2. Add chopped green leafy vegetables, boiled rice, green chillies-ginger paste,salt, sugar, oil, soda bi carb, turmeric powder, asafoetida, sesame seeds.mix all.
  3. Add curd and bind to thick mixture.
  4. Roll out muthiyas from prepared mixture. Steam for 30 mins.
  5. Cool and cut into 1/2" pieces.
  6. Add & heat oil in kadhai,do tempering of mustard cummin and sesame seeds as they splutter. Add chopped steamed muthiyas pieces,mix and cook for 2 minutes. Garnish with finely chopped fresh coriander leaves.
  7. Serve/ Relish Hot Greens Muthiyas.
