  1. 1/2 cup oil 3 medium onion sliced 1 tbs ginger, garlic paste
  2. 1/2 kg lamb, mutton or chicken 9 black pepper corns
  3. 2 star anise 2 cinnamon sticks 5 cloves
  4. 1 black cardamom 4 green cardamom 1 tsp white cumin seeds
  5. 1 & 1/2 tsp red chili powder or to taste
  6. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  7. 1 tsp garam masala powder 1 tsp cumin powder
  8. 1 & 1/2 tsp salt or to taste 1 bay leaf 3/4 cup yogurt
  9. 3 medium tomatoes cubes 4 fresh green chilies 6 dry Plums
  10. Fresh Green coriander handful Mint leaves handful
  11. 2 tbs lemon juice
  12. 1/2 kg basmati rice (soaked and boiled with whole spices & salt)
  13. 2 potatoes boiled Fried onion 2 tbs lemon juice
  14. 2 tbs remaining cooked rice (Water)
  15. 1/2 tsp yellow food color 1 tbs onion fried oil

Steps to make to make 🍲🥗Sindhi Biryani🥗🍲

  1. In pot,add oil,onion and fry until golden brown,take out half quantity of fried onion & set aside.

    In remaining fried onion,add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
  2. Add meat and fry until meat changes color.

    Add black pepper corns, star anise, cinnamon stick, cloves, black cardamom, green cardamom, cumin seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, bay leaf and yogurt, mix well & cook for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Add tomatoes and mix well.

    Add green chilies, plums, green coriander, mint leaves and mix well.
  4. Cover and cook for 6-8 minutes or until cooked 90%.

    Take out half quantity of cooked meat & gravy and set aside, add lemon juice, cooked rice, boiled potatoes, remaining cooked meat, fried onion, lemon juice, remaining cooked rice, water, yellow food color, fried onion and drizzle oil, cover and steam cook for 10 minutes. Gently mix it before serving.
    serve hot with fresh salad & mint suce.
